Under the patronage of the Lebanese Embassy in the United Arab Emirates, the Professional Computers Association in Lebanon (PCA) held a workshop entitled: "Tomorrow's Technology.... From Lebanon to the World" at the Lebanese pavilion at EXPO 2020 - Dubai, on February 26, 2022.
The Lebanese Ambassador to the UAE, Mr. Fouad Shehab Dandan, and the economic attaché at the embassy, Mr. Jean-Claude El Khoury, attended this workshop along with owners and managers of Emirati companies and Lebanese companies operating in the Emirates, a group of specialists, businessmen and a number of members of the association.
The president of the association, Mr. Camille Moukarzel, opened the workshop with a speech in which he stressed that the association will spare no effort to develop the information and communication sectors, and will work with every effort to keep pace with the global technological revolution so that Lebanon remains on the path of modernity and modernity and the transfer of its economy from a rentier economy to a productive digital economy.
As for Ambassador Fouad Dandan, in his speech, he praised the Lebanese companies that came from Lebanon specifically to display their products and the importance of their presence in the Arab markets, which restores the brilliance of Lebanon and its leading position in the region and the world.
The workshop included a presentation of the latest technological products and solutions belonging to the 11 Lebanese companies specialized in the field of informatics, in addition to TOSHIBA, represented by its general manager, Mr. Pradeep Kumar, and in the presence of its strategic partner in Lebanon, ATS Company, presented the latest product of the Photocopier, which was highly appreciated by the audience due to its unique and distinctive technical and technical specifications.
In parallel, the workshop was broadcast live on social media and websites, allowing many interested parties to participate live.
Lastly, the association held a cocktail party in the courtyard of the Lebanese Wing Restaurant.
